H-1B sponsor lookup

How many H-1B petitions USCIS approved for a company, year by year. Only the company name you type is sent.

Search for a company, then pick it from the list to see its H-1B filings by year.

How do I know if a company sponsors H-1B visas?

USCIS publishes how many H-1B petitions it approved and denied for every employer, each fiscal year. A company with approvals for new employment in recent years has sponsored before. Search it above. Past filings don't mean it will sponsor a particular role; ask the recruiter directly.

What do “new” and “continuing” mean?

“New” approvals are first petitions for a worker, including new hires from OPT. “Continuing” covers extensions, amendments and transfers from other employers. A company that only shows continuing approvals mostly keeps or transfers in existing H-1B workers.

How current is it?

USCIS H-1B Employer Data Hub, fiscal years 2019 to 2023 (the latest USCIS has published). FY2023 appears to be partial. Spellings of one company (with or without “Inc”, “LLC” and the like) and its filings in different states are added up as one; separate companies under one brand, such as Amazon Web Services and Amazon.com Services, stay apart. Our guide, changing jobs on H-1B, explains transfers.
